Chapter 11: California Uber Alles vs. Back-to-Back Civil War Champs: Part IV

So a new socialist United States of America wins that conflict under a victorious Republican vanguard. The war will take about five or six years, if the war records of the Confederacy and the Third Reich are any indication. It will have been hard fought, millions will lie dead, what next?

Well, first things first, the President had better forget the idea of going to the theater, or really anywhere else not under the strict protection of the Secret Service. The assassination of Lincoln gave us President Johnson, the most worthless and incompetent President in history, yes I know about Trump. The Southern bougies manipulated his shallow narcissism into pardoning them, one by one, for their crimes, blocking the redistribution of their plantations to the former slaves that overthrew them. That in turn made black civil rights dependent on the continual goodwill of Northern whites, which ran out in 1877. He threw the entire goddamn war away, doused its radicalism in corruption and bullshit. No Marxist-Lincolnist President should in any wise choose a Vice President less radical than them, lest another Johnson throw our own sacrifices away.

We should not make any quarter whatsoever with the surrendered up traitors. They should work for at least a decade, or for the rest of their lives if they're guilty of war crimes, building roads in Alaska. Why Alaska? Because we don't actually own Siberia. There may be other projects to set their labor at, to be addressed later. They should also never again be allowed to vote for so much as a dogcatcher. Is this harsh? Absolutely. These people must be made example of, or else there will one day be a Third Civil War. No stabbed-in-the-back Lost Cause mythology can be permitted to grow up after the next civil war, no coddling of reaction for the sake of good feelings or national unity. The losers must have their noses rubbed in it, and become a byword for what happens to chauvinist traitors down the ages to come.

Any liberal bougies, and especially any lying bougie pundits we capture, should be put on trial essentially as edifying public entertainment. They should be forced to read their crimes to the camera like it's a hostage video or a gulag. The point of this is to reverse the gaslighting and false consciousness they have inflicted on us for our entire lives. There is validation in hearing the people who wronged you admitting their wicked deeds; the workers deserve this. Their punishments should be colorful and should fit their deeds, so that they aren't forgotten, and remain an object lesson for future generations. There's a reason Stalin had Trotsky killed with an icepick, and Putin had a traitorous spy poisoned with radiation in England, and it's the same reason: the Russian people must remember what happens to traitors. Well, the workers must know what happens to their tormentors, and the bougies' would-be replacements must know what happens to exploiters of the working class.

For example, every single Dubya administration official responsible for torture or the crimes of imperialism should be charged with terrorism, sent to Gitmo, and processed through the same military courts they set up for the Taliban. Then, before any of their sentences are decided, Guantanamo Bay should be retroceded to Cuba, and those same officials thereby "extraterritorially rendered" to the tender mercies of the Cuban Revolution. Whoops! Did we just do that? Big sad!

For another example, Trump and Bill Clinton can share the same prison cell, for the same sex crimes they committed in the company of their best friend Jeffrey Epstein. (I voted in 2020 for Trump's up-fucking of American imperialism, not his sterling reputation as a human being. He will answer for his many crimes too.) And since Trump is the eternal showman, their lockup and psychological tortures could be a last-ditch attempt to redeem reality television as a concept. I wonder which one would be the prison wife; more at eleven.

I could go on, but I don't need to. If you've read this far, you probably have spent at least a little time imagining what you would do to your least favorite bougie if you thought you could get away with it. Well, after the civil war, we can all get away with it together. But we must do it together; if we allow liberal weakness and sentimentality to creep into our ranks, Johnsonian (or Khrushchevite) counterrevolution will not be far behind. Our freedom will lie in their gulags.

One bit of caution is necessary: we must not simply reduce ourselves to politicizing grudges, like the middle class does. That isn't to say that we must forget justice for our grudges; that will be impossible in such a liberated atmosphere for the working class. But we must regulate them somehow.

As the triangle compass tells us, the ethical core of the bougies is vanity. They are compelled to be the best; the point of liberalism is to be a better liberal than all the other liberals. This leads to arrogance rather easily. Though the ethical core of the middle class is self-interest, ideologically keeping up with the Joneses means they are driven to express liberal arrogance too in order to maintain their dignity.

So let's just ban arrogance. It sounds radical, but it's not. Arrogance is rhetorical violence, and in some parts of the American West, it's been banned for two hundred years in the form of "fighting words." In essence, if you walk up to someone and insult them for no reason, they are justified in fighting you, as your words are legally considered to have begun the violence. Something like that could be revived, and Nazi speech could also be criminalized via that route without having to revoke the First Amendment. (Revoking the First Amendment would be a terrible idea; outside of the Nazi exception, it's been incredibly useful to socialism throughout American history, and granted us protections here that no other bourgeois democracy has offered. Even in the height of McCarthyite repression it was a valid shield for us.)

There will still be repeat offenders even if their arrogance gets their asses kicked, and the answer to that is narcissist camps. Narcissism is just fascism applied to the personal sphere; fascism is just narcissism applied to politics. That's why the same law can easily catch and ban both. Narcissists resist treatment for their narcissism, but the people around them musn't pay the price for their refusal. This antisocial behavior must be curbed. Narcissist camps will basically be graded depending on level of offender; the simplest will be glorified night school for a couple weeks with a counselor helping you understand what you did wrong and why, all the way up to lifers up there in Alaska with Atomwaffen SS. Nobody will be serving a guaranteed life sentence in narcissist camp, but a condition of release will have to be an honest apology to their victims. From personal experience, I can tell you that some narcissists would prefer to break rocks until they're dead. I say we let them.

Those basic reforms can be undertaken by carefully worded executive order. Nationalization of every single capitalist firm at war with the government will presumably have occurred as a war measure, also possible through executive order. If the nationalized firms are then transferred to their workers, then there is no immediate basis for a return of capitalism from within. However, the threat without will remain, and must be dealt with swiftly while America retains the military edge purchased by the fallen regime.
