Chapter 3: But What About All The Other Ideologies?

There are clearly more ideologies in the world than liberalism, fascism, and socialism. I've already referred to anarchism, conservativism, and social democracy in this text; there are others. But, if ideologies correspond to classes, where do these other ideologies come from? The answer to this question is not incidental, and is the first ideological innovation of mine in this work that goes above and beyond a mere restatement of Marxism-Leninism.

But first, let us revisit that triangle compass, albeit with some further additions:

This may be confusing on first glance, especially given the implied connections. What do Republicans and socialists have in common besides the color red and a burning desire for Hillary Clinton to go to jail? What does Bernie Sanders, child of Holocaust survivors, have in common with the Nazis? And what does JFK have in common with Genghis Khan?

The answer is class. Every society in history has had bougies, petties, and proles, and every society will have these classes until the advent of the final victory of communism, when a classless utopia will be acheived. But every society in history has not permitted the free expression of the preferred ideology of each class. As one example, modern Germany does not permit the free expression of fascist ideology; as another, McCarthyite America did not permit the free expression of socialist ideology.

When your class cannot express its interests openly, or when your class has been thoroughly brainwashed by false consciousness to the point where it cannot even understand its own interests, what happens? What do you end up believing in, and why?

First off, it must be noted that each class can perceive, to an extent, its fundamental differences from the other classes, even if this fundamental difference is obscured by ideology. If a prole cannot be a socialist, they will not automatically start trusting bougie liberals or petty fascists, but will still seek out a position equidistant from both. If a petty cannot be a fascist, they will still not trust bougies or proles. Most rarely but still not unheard of, if a bougie cannot openly be a liberal, they will find an ideology that still isn't fascism or socialism.

Your values end up dictating your ideology, and your values derive from your class in a way that's so fundamental that false consciousness or force can only divert where your values take you, not what your values are. Here's another triangle compass to illustrate the values of the classes. The blue line is the bougies, the brown line is the petties, the red line is the proles:

And so we see the fundamental values of the classes.
